The Queen of the Skies

The Project II

Back from the powder coater May 27, 2008. R and R Powder Coating Gastonia, NC

The doors and frames

The round parts, the base, shield, large and small tops and control covers. Everything was wrapped very tight and the powder coater did an excellent job of bead blasting the frames and coating the individual pieces, even to the point of protecting the thread holes on each part.

Unpacking and beginning assembly

The large round cap (underside) Note blower motor mount             Top and blower exhaust (blower is variable speed and voltage)     Rain cap (the blower under this cap is the original

We had the leads replaced on the original blower motor and it is in perfect working condition voltage is variable from 60 to 220 volts

This is the way the caps stack                                                            The base, everything bolts to this                                                          The bottom shield with three air inlets

The doors                                                                                                The side panels that support the doors                                              Looking at the control panel (left side)

The doors installed                                                                                     Closed and locked

Bottom shield, ARC control covers and blower housing                   Notice the use of socket head stainless bolts and hardware, this should eliminate any rust issues in the future

More pictures will be added as the assembly continues...................
