The Lens

Pamphlets I have obtained:

BBT Corporation of America, Safe Airport Lighting. Philadelphia, PA: c. 1930. 16 pp., 4to. Extensive catalogue of airport lighting systems, with floodlights, boundary lights and flashing beacons.

8-1/2" x 11" 6 page brochure issued by the B.B.T. Corporation of America of Philadelphia, PA. Entitled: "The New B.B.T. Airport Floodlight - Bulletin A 17". It describes the B.B.T. Intermediate Type H-8-D Landing Floodlight. Dated 1928. Has been folded in thirds to fit standard envelope.

We presume that this lens was manufactured by the French Fresnel lens maker Barbier, Bénard et Tureene somewhere during the time period of 1919 to 1920 in St. Begoine, France.
